Who We Are

GMYS exists to create a community of young musicians from throughout central and northern Vermont and New Hampshire through performing great music.

​

With 3 orchestras during the concert season, a week-long camp each August, and an intro to strings program, there is a seat for every young musician interested in exploring orchestral music in a fun setting. Need-based tuition assistance is available.

When We Do It

GMYS rehearsals are on Saturdays from September - April in the Montpelier, VT area.

 The health and safety of our community must come first. GMYS in-person programs are suspended until further notice.

May 2021 UPDATE

We miss seeing GMYSers in person! We are planning to hold auditions in the fall to restart rehearsals in January 2022.
